The Amish

Traditional Amish Family in a buggy

The Amish are a mighty strange people.
Their churches lack the usual steeple.
They Never go around in giant SUVs.
By horse and buggy, if you please.

Amish women dress children and husbands funny.
They seek not wealth nor accumulate money.
Without air conditioning, and with no TV,
No Internet connection for the kids to see.

If you invade their schools and cause great harm,
They seek not revenge, nor do they break your arm.
The Amish forgive you, and turn the other cheek.
They don't pursue you to make your future bleak.

Come on Amish, who you trying to kid?
You cannot live life like Jesus did.

Jesus, wine, and bread Jesus praying

William's Whimsical Words:

Imagine the chaos if an Amish was President.
How to make war or destroy the environment?
