Perseverance

The power of perseverance in human affairs is enormous. Most goals in life are achievable by dint of dogged persistence and unwavering pursuit. It helps to have talent, of course, but if you have to choose, go with perseverance every time. Your stubborn refusal to quit will frequently be interpreted by others as courage, dedication, faith, or another virtuous quality, when indeed it is none of these.
