Farewell Simple Donald

Unca Donald with his nephews

Simple Donald sent a General,
To fight Bush's war in Iraq.
Said Simple Donald to the General,
"I have got your Back."

Said the General to Simple Donald,
"Show me please your grand Plan."
Said Simple Donald to the General,
"Crush Saddam, and next Iran."

Simple Donald went a-fishing,
To catch Osama Bin Laden;
But the special forces he had
Were now in his Iraqi garden.

The Generals tried to tell him
It would take boots on the ground.
So Donald purged the honest ones,
and kept all the "yes sirs" around.

He told us it would be over
In six months or less.
But 3.5 years later,
He left it a bloody mess.

Simple Donald failed to look,
If plums grew on a thistle;
He stuck his hand in Abu Ghraib,
Which made poor Donald whistle.

If arrogance were intelligence,
Donald would be a smarter man.
As a supercilious know-it-all,
He's done all the damage one can.

He silenced all dissension,
But his fantasy fell through;
And now poor Simple Donald
Does bid us an overdue adieu.
