Nocturnal Animals

Several reasons why william says 'tis better to sleep when it is daylight:

1. There is something deliciously defiant about snoozing while the majority of your fellow beings are toiling at their work, or otherwise engaged in their daily pursuits.

2. You will be well rested during the night when the doorbell and the telephone seldom ring.

3. Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noonday sun.

4. It is easier to spot the approach of predators should you be awakened during daylight hours.

William's Whimsical Words:

Solitude is the writer's most important tool.
