The Old Woman
There was an old Chicken Hawk
Who worked in a Zoo.
He had so many soldiers
He didn't know what to do.
Dusted off an old war plan
That he kept in his head,
And soon twenty-nine thousand
Were maimed, or they were dead.
Wrong about our troop strength.
Way off on Iraqi occupation.
As a reward for his malfeasance,
Reassigned to serve the Nation.
Even as his credibility sank,
He was posted to a World Bank.
On the plus side of the ledger,
Not bullets; doled out treasure.
To the World Bank He came.
In search of His Good Name.
But no management skill had he,
And staff treated so shabbily.
To his girlfriend gave big raise.
The stupidity doth truly amaze.
So now at the World Bank,
Paul stepped on his Crank.
William's Whimsical Words:
Proving once again that in the current administration no failure or misdeed goes unrewarded.
