The Old Woman
There was an old Chicken Hawk
Who lived in a Zoo.
He had so many soldiers
He didn't know what to do.
So he dusted off an old war plan
He had kept in his head,
And pretty soon twenty thousand
Were maimed, or they were dead.
He was wrong about troop strength.
And way off on Iraqi occupation.
As a reward for his malfeasance,
Was recalled to serve the Nation.
Even as his credibility sank,
He was posted to a World Bank.
On the plus side of the old ledger,
Instead of bullets, now doles out treasure.
William's Whimsical Words:
Proving once more that in the current administration no failure or misdeed goes unrewarded.
