D-day Before   D-day After
[1944 - D-Day for Operation Overlord, Allied invasion fleet lands troops
on Normandy beaches (largest amphibious landing in history)]

The Old Woman

Redtail Hawk - commonly known as Chicken Hawk

There was an old Chicken Hawk
Who lived in a Zoo.
He had so many soldiers
He didn't know what to do.
So he dusted off an old war plan
He had kept in his head,
And pretty soon fourteen thousand
Were maimed, or they were dead.

USAF Mortuary photo
He was wrong about troop strength.
And way off on Iraq occupation.
As a reward for his malfeasance,
Was recalled to serve the Nation.
Even as his credibility sank,
He was posted to a World Bank.
On the plus side of the old ledger,
Instead of bullets, now doles out treasure.

Paul Wolfowitz

William's Whimsical Words:

Proving once more that in the current administration no misdeed goes unrewarded.
