In a Heartbeat

Once, when my Body was Still,
And my Mind was Calm and Quiet,
I thought I heard the Sound of the Universe.

"Fool," I said, "you have only heard
The sound of your own heart beating."
It was nothing special, I thought.

Now I can hear the sound of the Universe
Whenever I choose to.
It sounds like: connect, connect, connect, connect. . . .
